Retrochrome

This story from UNC-TV NC Weekend reporter Stephanie Bourland highlights an exhibit at the History Hub in Durham, NC  featuring photos from turn of the 20th century southern photographer Hugh Mangum. The photos seem particulary modern even with the subjects in the period dress. The pictures possess the whimsy of much more modern snapshots than the stoic quality of photos of early part of the 20th century. Worth checking out.
